My Story

I started Box of Brightness at 15 years old because I wanted to help children who are going through chemo and make their days a little easier.

When I learned how long pediatric chemo treatments can be and how much time kids spend sitting in infusion centers, I kept thinking about how hard that must be. I wanted to do something that could help them feel more comfortable and give them something to look forward to during treatment.

I realized that small things can make a big difference. Things like fuzzy socks, a stuffed animal, or even a handwritten note can help a child feel comforted and remind them that people care about them.

I created Box of Brightness to bring those small moments of happiness to kids during treatment. My goal is to help them smile and make their day feel a little brighter.

I hope to continue growing Box of Brightness and donate more boxes to help as many children as possible.
